Kristy Houle is the Educational Opportunities Coordinator for HEC-TV and a director for the Educate Today department of the corporation. She is responsible for assisting in website development, planning quality programming, developing professional development and building partnerships with local school districts. She also contributes to the HEC-TV Magazine as a writer for the Educational Spotlight section each month. Kristy has been in the education field for 17 years as a teacher, administrator, and presenter for St. Louis school districts. She has done extensive work with superintendents and local universities in the field of quality classroom instruction and professional development. Kristy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Missouri State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational
Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Kristy lives with her husband Rich, an engineer; children Jack, Charlie and Max; and a Golden Retriever, Luke.
