Cindy Thornton lives in Nashville with her husband and two sons. Cindy has always had a passion for creating art, and later discovered her passion for teaching in art education. She has taught for seventeen years in both public and private school atmospheres. For the past twelve years she has called Franklin Road Academy in Nashville TN her school home. She is currently the Fine and Preforming Arts Chair for the Academy, in addition to developing the visual art curriculum and teaching classes that range from Fifth grade to AP Drawing. Additionally, she is currently an Adjunct Professor of Art Education at Belmont University.
Cindy holds an Undergraduate from Middle Tennessee State University in Art Education, a Masters in Educational Curriculum from Trevecca University, she holds an Administrative teaching licenses, and in May will be starting her Ed.D at Trevecca University.
